I grew up in Breckinridge County and spent a good part of my adult life in Meade. I live in Falls of Rough now, close enough to the lake that I see what sits on the market and what moves.
The short version
Before real estate I was in training with the Kentucky Army National Guard, where I still serve. It taught me a lot about life, and a lot of it translates into being a real estate agent.
Most of this job is homework. Pulling what sold nearby, working out why one place brought more than the one down the road, and being able to explain the number to somebody who is about to make a decision on it. That part suits me.
I am newer at this than most of the agents you will talk to. I would rather tell you that plainly than have you work it out later. What I will put against it: I know this ground because I was raised on it, I will do the work on the numbers, and I will tell you when I think you are wrong about a price — including when the price is yours.
