Who this is

This site is operated by Sam Turner, a real estate agent licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and affiliated with Red Edge Realty. All real estate services are offered through Red Edge Realty. You can reach me at (270) 668-3467 or by email at sam@lapinskyrealty.com.

What this site collects

What you type into a form. Depending on which form you use, that is your name, phone number, email address, the location and type of property you are asking about, a price range, a timeline, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing on this site asks for a Social Security number, a date of birth, or any financial account details, and you should never send those through a web form.

Where you came from. When a form is submitted, the site also sends the page you were on, the page you first landed on, the website that referred you if there was one, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked — for example the utm tags or the click identifier on an advert. This is how I tell which advert or search actually produced an inquiry.

Basic traffic statistics. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records aggregate visit data such as page views, approximate country and browser type. I see totals, not individuals.

Who it is shared with

When you submit a form, what you entered is sent to two services so that it reaches me and does not get lost:

• Web3Forms, which delivers the submission to my email inbox
• Follow Up Boss, the customer records system used by Red Edge Realty, so your inquiry and my follow-up are recorded in one place
• Cloudflare, which hosts the site and serves every page
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces and therefore sees your IP address when a page loads

Because Follow Up Boss is the brokerage's system, my principal broker and brokerage staff can also see your inquiry. That is normal for a real estate brokerage and is part of how a broker supervises agents.

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing. If a transaction goes ahead I may need to pass details to the people involved in that specific deal — a lender, a title company, an inspector, the other side's agent — and I will tell you when that happens.

Calls, texts and email

Every form on this site has a box you tick to say I may contact you. It is not ticked for you and the form will not send without it. By ticking it you are agreeing that I may reply by phone, text message or email about the inquiry you sent.

Message and data rates may apply. You can tell me to stop at any time — reply STOP to a text, say so on a call, or email me — and I will. Asking me to stop contacting you does not affect any service you have already asked for.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. It does use your browser's session storage to remember which advert or link brought you here, so that the information survives if you click through to another page before filling in a form. That is cleared when you close the tab. Cloudflare may set a cookie of its own for security and bot filtering.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept in the brokerage's records system for as long as they are useful for the working relationship, and longer where Kentucky real estate record-keeping rules require it. Email copies sit in my inbox until deleted.

Getting your information removed

Email or call me and ask. I will delete what I can and tell you plainly if something has to be kept for record-keeping reasons, and why. Kentucky does not currently give residents a general right to demand deletion the way some states do, but you do not need a law to ask me and I will not make it difficult.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying and selling property. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The version you are reading is the one that applies.
